

BIOGRAPHY
Edward Asvazadourian
Edward (Ed) Asvazadourian has been Vice President of the Environmental
Insurance Agency, Inc. (EIA) in White Plains, New York since 1998.
EIA provides environmental risk financing services such as insurance
brokerage, underwriting, policy drafting and consulting in a variety of contexts
involving environmental exposures, particularly contaminated property
transactions and Brownfields. EIA
can also offer the full range of commercial insurance products, risk management
consulting and general insurance services.
In the last few years, EIA has formed several alliances with top
Brownfield developers and environmental engineering companies, leading to
development and sales of cleanup cost cap polices and ART products such as
finite risk and pooling arrangements. In
this more sophisticated and complex area,
Mr. Asvazadourian has also been President and CEO since 1985 of the highly successful Dorian Agency, Ltd. (Dorian Agency), an independent general agency in Hawthorne, New York. Prior to taking the helm at the Dorian Agency, Mr. Asvazadourian was a top producing Sales Executive with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in New York. His consistent record of forging business relationships with clients coupled with comprehensive product knowledge led to the position of Manager and annual recognition in the elite Million Dollar Round Table. He is a member in good standing of the NALU, NASD, LUTC, and IIAA.
