COST CONTAINMENT COVERAGE
Protects Site Owners/Developers,
Potentially Responsible Parties (PRP's) and Contractors/Consultants from
cost overruns arising during the performance of a specific cleanup project.
The primary loss exposures are unidentified types or amounts of contamination,
or a regulatory change resulting in stricter remedial standards.
Coverage is applicable to cleanups of all kinds, including RCRA and Superfund,
and in the context of Brownfields Redevelopment Projects,
Mergers/Acquisitions/Divestitures and settlements of coverage litigation.
PROGRAM COVERS:

Scheduled locations or projects - can also apply to portfolios of properties
or multiple projects.

Indemnification for cleanup costs exceeding the cost estimate or a percentage
of the cost estimate
